Our 2025 Annual Report is live!

This past year was defined by inspired communities, dedicated facilitators, and strong local leaders taking charge of their own futures. Inside the report, we share the key metrics, stories of impact, and strategic milestones that shaped our work along with a look at where we’re heading next.

None of this progress happens in isolation. We are deeply grateful to our global team, local partners, and dedicated supporters who drive this mission forward every single day.

In Malawi, our facilitators are using Rosie’s World, a story-driven guide developed by WASH United and WAGGGS to transform how girls understand their bodies. By replacing deeply rooted myths with interactive storytelling and games, these sessions make Menstrual Hygiene Management education fun, relatable, and effective at keeping girls in school.

Outreach Development Program (ODP) Program Coordinator, Chrissy, shares how these stories are reshaping girls' everyday experiences in Outreach communities in Malawi.

"I used to think I couldn’t do it, but I realized I could." 💫

Rizalyn used to compare herself to the makahiya plant—folding inward whenever she felt shy or uncertain. Today, she is leading her community, securing resources for local schools, and inspiring everyone around her.

Innovation in action with Alcance Bolivia! 🌾

We are thrilled to share this update from our partners at Alcance Bolivia, who collaborated with GIZ Bolivia and Fundación PROINPA to bring new post-harvest machinery to tarwi producers in Tiraque.

Around 180 families across six local communities now have access to specialized harvesting technology. By speeding up grain separation and reducing crop loss, this equipment cuts down intensive manual labor while elevating grain quality—opening doors to formal, sustainable markets.

This project perfectly demonstrates what happens when communities lead the way and strategic partners supply the right tools: long-term economic resilience and self-reliance.

We all have the opportunity to inspire change in the world 🌍💧

Four incredible 5th graders stepped up to take what they learned in the classroom and turn it into real-world impact for Outreach communities. By organizing a school-wide water walk, these young leaders experienced what it was like to carry water every day—raising awareness and funds to support clean water projects.

Their story proves that change often starts with a single step and a lot of heart.

Transformation doesn’t happen overnight it’s built overtime🌟

When the Kuakhal community in India began working with Outreach International in 2021, they had one dedicated village leader. Since then, the community has addressed 16 issues, accessed over $11,000 in resources, and graduated with 15 community members as leaders. Increasing and strengthening leadership is important. It means communities don't rely on outside aid to advocate for themselves. Now, these leaders have the knowledge, structure, and confidence to walk directly into local government offices, secure public resources, and create lasting change together.

Access to water is only half the battle—it has to be safe to drink. 💧

In the next episode of Beyond Poverty, Megan Lindmark breaks down how simple in-line chlorination devices remove the burden of water treatment from families at the household level.

From protecting against waterborne illnesses to keeping residual chlorine in stored water, this simple technology helps ensure communities stay healthy and thrive.
