What a difference a year makes.

Yesterday we were threatened with an eviction. The City Hall security said they needed to clear us out to clean the lawn and fountains. The people of this city rose up and got our backs. We made a plan.

Our demands are the same:
Homes
Jobs
Water
A seat at the table

The Mayor finally came to the table to hear us out negotiate. He did not commit to stop the sweeps. He committed to municipal IDs for the homeless and to meet again today.

No sweep yesterday. But we shall not be moved till our demands are met.
