The Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) at the Guadalupe Centers helps low-income families stabilize their long-term financial outlook. Casey Foundation our center provides core services across three areas: employment readiness and career improvement, financial education/coaching and public be
nefits access. These core services are integrated and provided to clients in a bundled fashion in order to reinforce one another and to provide a multifaceted approach to income and wealth building. Guadalupe Centers join the Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) Network in the fall of 2014, with the support of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and United Way of Greater Kansas City (UWGKC). We then became the third FOC in the Kansas City metropolitan area, to provide an integrated or “bundled” set of three core services: employment services, financial education and coaching, and access to income supports. As of today, there are four FOC's in the Greater Kansas City area.
