Sun out, crew together, and a full morning of getting the boats cleaned up and ready to hit the water. A little work, a lot of laughs, and that feeling that race season is right around the corner.

We’re grateful for every paddler, every practice, and every person who chose to show up and put in the work. This team grew because of the people in it.

SLAP Dragons KC is bursting with pride as we celebrate Betty and Lisa, KC Pink Warriors Dragon Boat Team paddlers who have been selected to compete on the 2025 BCP Team USA! 🇺🇸💖

This is the first time in history that the Breast Cancer Paddler (BCP) division will be raced at a World Nations Championship, and these two amazing paddlers will be part of this groundbreaking moment!

Their strength, resilience, and passion for the sport inspire us every single day. 💪🐉💗 We’re beyond honored to have these amazing women in our SLAP Dragons family, and we can't wait to cheer them on as they take the world stage.

What a weekend! SLAP Dragons KC showed up strong at the Badger Lake Dragon Boat Bash, full hearts, fast strokes, and incredible memories. From our teamwork on the water to the community around the tent, this experience reminded us why we love this sport.

What. A. Weekend. SLAP Dragons KC traveled to Ft. Dodge Iowa to compete at the Badger Lake Dragon Boat Bash and paddled our way to GOLD in the A Division! 🥇🔥

A huge shoutout to our amazing steerswoman, who not only steered us to victory but also won Best Team Tent!🎪💖

To every paddler who showed up with strength, dedication, and love, thank you. We’re so proud of what we achieved together. Medals are sweet, but it’s the shared journey that makes this so meaningful.

Bonus highlight: The fierce and fabulous KC Pink Flamingos, a “newbie” boat formed by the amazing women of KC Pink Warriors. Despite heavy winds and first race nerves, these ladies gave it their all and brought home GOLD in their division too! 🦩

K2N takes the show on the road! Going out of state for a clinic to Kansas City. Able to knock out clinic sessions and a full day of private lessons. Able to sneak in a Mixed OC2 10k somewhere in there as well. Awesome experience, awesome people and an awesome town. Huge thank you to everyone that organized and attended - highlight of my coaching career!
