HOW IT WORKS: BOOKSTORE CRAWL

KCBA's goal is to bring engagement and resources to the incredible network of indie bookstores in the Greater KC area. Our member stores are committed to working on community over competition in a united love for all things

The Kansas City Bookstore Crawl features all of our member stores (25 stores and counting!) in a handy passport/map to stamp as you go. We'll provide addresses, hours, and route suggestions; you shop to your heart's content while you meet and explore new and well-loved indie bookstores in the area.

Tag as you go to get featured in our stories, enjoy the many special events the stores provide for the weekend, support local authors. It's the best of

Passport maps and 2026 totes available soon. Stay tuned!
