The KC Health Department welcomes anyone in need of FREE food to their Pop-Up Pantry & Resource Fair! Supplies are limited, so be sure to arrive early. No registration is required—just walk in and grab what you need.

What to Expect:
- A variety of fresh produce
- Resources and information from community partners

Supplies will be available until they run out.

Every first Tuesday of the month.
Kansas City Health Department Atrium, 2400 Troost, Kansas City, Missouri.

All Kansas City government offices will be closed on Christmas Day.

How the holidays affect trash pickup:
Christmas Day – Thursday, Dec. 25th (No collection on Thursday. Trash will be delayed Thursday through Saturday)
New Year’s Day – Thursday, Jan. 1 (No collection on Thursday. Trash will be delayed Thursday through Saturday)

Many stores will close early on Christmas Eve and are closed on Christmas Day.

For Eastwood Hills, trash pickup this week will be on November 12th

Eastwood Hills - our Leaf and Brush curbside pickup date is December 16th. Perhaps use our few warm days in November and early December to finish yard cleanup for *free* curbside pickup.

Trash & Recycling Pickup Services will be postponed on Monday, September 1, 2025 in observance of Labor Day. The holiday schedule will push pickup days back by one day through Saturday, September, 6, 2025.

Monday, November 11 is Veterans Day. Trash and recycling pickup is delayed by one day all week. Also, all City offices are closed on Monday, November 11th.

We are missing our dog in the area. a black and white chihuahua with a red collar who answers to the name Comet. He was last seen at Eastwood Elementary school during the afternoon.
