Hollis Renewal Center Hollis Renewal Center is a Christian retreat center, set on 153 acres of well kept wilderness in the hills 25 minutes west of downtown Kansas City.

We welcome all. Extending Christian hospitality to all since 1988. No more than 40 minutes from anywhere in Kansas City, 153 wooded secluded acres of wild flowers and wildlife invite your discovery. Trails, shelters, overnight facilities and picnic areas enhance your enjoyment of the land. The lodge, hideaway and welcome center offer year-round meeting rooms. In our busy lives finding the space to reflect is just as important as finding the time. Through active and reflective Christian living and though offering experiences of solitude and community to renew you for ministry in your day-to-day life, Hollis is committed to offering affordable retreat space for individuals and groups.

Some auction pieces hold a special place in the heart of Hollis.

This beautiful lidded porcelain vase was created by Taren Scott, whose imagination, craftsmanship, and love have been part of our community for more than two decades. Her creativity has brought beauty to Hollis, and we are grateful to share a piece of that artistry in this year’s Fall Festival Silent Auction.

This vase is a lovely reflection of Taren’s gifts and the many ways she continues to be treasured here.

SUPPORT EAGLE SCOUT PROJECTS AT HOLLIS!

Eagle Scouts have made a lasting difference at Hollis, from repairing benches and bridges to improving the spaces around our Tiny Cabins. Their projects give Scouts the chance to lead and serve while helping care for the grounds we all enjoy.

This year, we’re hoping to raise $1,500 to support future Eagle Scout projects. You can help by making a flat donation of any amount through our Fall Festival auction.

And we’d love to see you at the Hollis Fall Festival on October 10! Get your tickets, come enjoy an evening together, and support Hollis and the Scouts who give so much to this place.
