Since 2008, the UMKC Pride Breakfast has raised funds to support LGBTQIA+ students at UMKC. The event is now a Luncheon!

The Pride Breakfast is a collaborative initiative between the UMKC divisions of Diversity and Inclusion, Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, and University Advancement. The breakfast benefits LGBTQIA scholarships and funds, which are often lifelines to students who are abandoned by their families after being "outed" or coming out.
