VFW Foundation The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Foundation is the official 501(c)(3) charity of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States.

The VFW Foundation was established in 1996 to assist in securing financial resources for VFW programs and services. Through strategic relationships with corporations, private foundations, and individual supporters, the VFW Foundation helps fill in governmental assistance gaps for U.S. service personnel, veterans, and military families. WHAT WE DO
With your help, we can continue to support programs that:

Facilitate support for VA benefit claims filing assistance
(National Veterans Service) to service members and veterans free of charge regardless of VFW affiliation. Secured $11.2 billion in support last year alone! Support troops and their families in need of financial assistance for housing, utilities, vehicle repair, food, medical or basic life needs. Provide scholarships to student veterans so that they have needed financial assistance to complete their educational goals without incurring excessive student loan debt.

We’re proud to recognize Batteries Plusfor supporting the VFW during their Power with Purpose campaign celebrating of America’s 250th anniversary this summer. Their commitment helped us honor the generations of veterans who have served our nation and the communities that continue to stand behind them.

Earlier this month, VFW National Commander-in-Chief Cory Geisler presented a plaque from the VFW Foundation and his CIC Medallion to their national headquarters in recognition of their meaningful support..

Thank you, Batteries Plus, for helping the VFW Foundation power the mission of the VFW and make this milestone year meaningful for veterans, service members and their families.
