National Hereford Women (NHW) was officially founded in November of 2008, with the unification of the American Hereford Women & the National Organization of Pollettes. Both organizations brought unique projects, ideas, heritage, history, influences, as well as common interests in the Hereford breed and the passion and belief in the need to educate, promote, enrich, and reward the Hereford youth together. This organization strives to help women in the beef industry find their nitch, and encourages everyone to continue the longtime cattle-woman tradition with the cattle industry and to expand that horizon for both women and todays youth.
