Gamma Nu had a very successful Formal Recruitment this past January! They welcomed home 24 New Members and celebrated with fun minute to win it type games and a roller skating party 🎿

Hello Alumnae! The NE/MO Theta Phi Day is coming up rather quickly! It will be hosted on Rockhurst University in Arrupe Hall on November 3rd. We are looking for alumnae volunteers to help assist us in creating a wonderful event. Please read the below descriptions for what we are needing and looking for. You may contact Trinity Gleason, Lead Facilitator, or Amanda Rogers, Coordinator, at [email protected] or [email protected] to sign up!

- Facilitators – The theme for Theta Phi Alpha Day 2018 is Explore Theta Phi Alpha. The curriculum and presentation materials will be provided for you. Alumnae are needed to serve as facilitators. Facilitators are asked to be present for the entire day if possible so that you can be available for questions throughout the day. Please sign up for as many areas as you are interested in so we are sure to have all topics covered.

- Photographer/Videographer– An alumna or two who can be our photographer/videographer for the day.

- Registration Table – Two or three alumnae are needed to assist at the Registration table from [7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m]. You will help with set up, check sisters into the event and hand out materials

- Philanthropy – Two or three alumnae are needed from 8:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to collect items for the Hope House. You will need to pack up the items and take them to the drop off site.

- Items to Donate – This is an area that everyone can help with! Even if you cannot attend the event, you can make contributions. The goal is to make this a very inexpensive day for the chapters yet make it fun with special touches throughout the day. Here are the items we would like to collect.

· Decorations
o Items that could be used as table center pieces or
room decorations that tie into Theta Phi Alpha
(could then be used as raffles items as the end of
the day)
· Snacks for Sisters when they arrive
o Granola Bars
o Wrapped Candy
o Gum
o Any other smaller, individually wrapped snack
items
· Parade of Prizes or raffle items for participants
o Penguins
o White Roses
o Theta Phi Alpha items
o Penguin Stickers
o Theta Phi Alpha T-shirts
· Philanthropy Items for the Hope House:

I would love to plan an event with the alumnae during Family/Alumni Weekend at Rockhurst! The event will be on Saturday, September 22nd from 2-4pm. Hello alum! My name is Colleen Joyce and I am the new Alumnae Relations chair for our chapter. I just wanted to let you all know that we will need someone to come to our first chapter on Monday, January 15th. Please let me know if anyone is available. Also, we should have our calendar finalized by that night and I will send that out to all of you. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
