Thursday, May 7- NickiFit Yoga, 6:30 p.m., North-East Branch Library, 6000 Wilson Ave.
Free yoga session for ages 18 and up. These Health & Wellness classes are sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield Kansas City.

Friday, May 8- Ph Coffee Neighborhood Night, 6 to 9 p.m., 2200 Lexington Ave. Meet friends old and new for drinks, dinner and conversation. All Northeast neighbors are welcome.

Saturday, May 9- Lykins Orchard Day, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., Lykins Square Park Orchard (7th St. & Jackson Ave.) Come help plant two new jujube fruit trees and help care for other trees in this community orchard.

Saturday, May 9- Slime Time, 1 to 2:30 p.m., North-East Branch Library, 6000 Wilson Ave.
Measure, pour and mix to create your own unique Slime. For ages 5 to 12, free.

Saturday, May 9- World Collage Day Meetup, 1 to 4 p.m., Kansas City Public Library, Central Branch, 14 W. 10th St. This freeform drop-in collage lab aims to connect artists and celebrate a medium that transforms elements into something new. Free.

Sunday, May 10- Happy Mother’s Day from the staff of The Northeast News!

Tuesday, May 12- Craft Circle, 6 to 7 p.m., North-East Branch Library, 6000 Wilson Ave.
This month’s craft project is an origami paper garland; all materials and instructions are included. Crafters are welcome to bring their own projects also, free.
