West Bannister Neighborhood Association The West Bannister Neighborhood Association is comprised of over 180 homes in South Kansas City. The Association has been in existence since 1981.

The neighborhood is partly bordered by State Line Road, Ward Parkway, and Wornall Road. A voluntary membership neighborhood association

Ken Dessert passed away on December 7. His Celebration of Life will be on January 10 at Mt. Moriah Funeral Home on Holmes Rd, KCMO. Visitation at 10, service at 11 and reception at 12. WBNA is sad to hear this as the Desserts have a long and positive history in the neighborhood. We will keep Sharon in our thoughts.

Had some coyotes visit our neighborhood Halloween night, they were yipping pretty loud, so you might've heard them too...just off Bannister Road between Jarboe and Mercier on the North side of Bannister Road...not sure where they are staying, but keep an eye on your little doggies!
