German Shepherd Dog Club of Greater Kansas City To educate the public generally as to the uses, habits, characteristics, advantages, training, care, companionship and treatment of German Shepherd Dogs.

To encourage and promote the intelligent and selective breeding of the purebred German Shepherd Dogs and to do all possible to bring their qualities to perfection and encourage scientific research for the improvement of the breed. To do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials and any other AKC event.

Big Congratulations to member, Becky James and Freya, who earned the coveted AKC Rally Championship (RACH), which requires a team to earn 20 triple qualifying scores in Advanced B, Excellent B, and Master classes at the same rally trial; at 20 separate events, plus earn 300 RACH points from the Master and Excellent classes. To seal the deal, Freya also won High Triple today, scoring 299/300 at the trial!
