Looking for things to do this weekend? You can help, learn and celebrate all that makes our community great this weekend.

1) Help clean up after the storm. This work is ongoing and you can volunteer to help clean up and check on neighbors or simply donate trash bags, water, nonperishable food, or money. Follow Justice for Wyandotte for details on how to help.

2) Learn the history of our community through a powerful play called My Father's Poder at JC Harmon tonight and tomorrow. Check out Argentine Betterment Corporation- ABC to get your tickets and learn me.

3) Celebrate the rich diversity of the Greater Kansas City area! You will catch me at the Ethnic Enrichment Festival at Swope Park volunteering at the Peace Corps Booth this weekend. (Or, more likely, you'll see me eating all my favorites at the African Dream Cuisine Booth!)
