We have news we've been excited to share! 💙

Mercy & Truth, along with our strategic pharmacy partner, Pharmacy of Grace, has been chosen by the Mayor as a recipient of the City of Shawnee Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund.

Being chosen by the city we serve is a gift we won't soon forget. Every dollar given to that tree turns into care for a neighbor who needs it. To further support our cause, mercyandtruth.com/give

It was so great to celebrate with our community at Moonlight Market last week! Our Mobile Health Clinic was there with free health screenings, and we saw so many of you. Thank you for stopping by, saying hello, and taking a look inside! 🚐

We're very excited for everything we've got ahead.

Since 1995, our teams have made more than 75 trips to over 30 countries, bringing medical care and the love of Jesus to people who rarely receive either.

Prenatal care in rural Kenya. Infections treated in Mexico's mountains. Clean water and wellness education in Ecuador.

Thirty-one years of it, all because people gave, prayed, and went.

National Nonprofit Day was yesterday. Consider this our thank you to all of you who have supported our cause and made it all possible.

"He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick." Luke 9:2

The doors are OPEN!🎉

Last week we celebrated something special: our partners at Pharmacy of Grace launched their new full-service pharmacy right inside our Mercy & Truth Shawnee facility.

That means affordable medications, right where our patients already receive care closer to home and easier than ever for our Johnson County neighbors.

Congratulations, Pharmacy of Grace! Here's to changing more lives, together.

"You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You!" — Isaiah 26:3

So much of what steals our peace begins in our thoughts. The worry. The fear. The uncertainty we carry into each new day.

Today, be intentional about fixing your thoughts on God's goodness. A mind set on Him is kept in perfect peace, no longer ruled by fear or worry, but held steady by the One who holds all things.

Praying peace over you this Sunday. 🕊️

Even in the work of caring for others, there is a place for stillness.💙

"I have calmed and quieted myself, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content." — Psalm 131:2 (NIV)

Mission work is often busy, demanding, and full of need. But the heart behind Life-Changing Care is one that has first learned to be still to trust God, to rest in His provision, and to serve not from hurry, but from peace.

This Sunday, we invite you to pause. Receive this day as a gift, and let contentment renew you for the work you have ahead, whatever that may be.

Today is the National Day of Prayer.🙏

For our Mercy & Truth Medical Missions team, prayer travels with us. It travels in the suitcases packed for clinics in remote villages. It travels in the quiet moments before a long surgery. It travels in the conversations with patients who may not speak our language, but who understand exactly what it means when someone bows their head with them.

We've prayed with families in places where help is hard to come by. We've held hands with patients who had nothing but hope and a willingness to keep going. We've prayed for healing, for safe travels, for our partners on the ground, and for better days ahead for so many.

Today, we pray again. For the people we have served, and the ones we have yet to meet. For those who are waiting for Life-Changing Care, and those who are waiting for hope.

Wherever you are in the world today, we hope you feel cared for, prayed for, and seen.🌍
