The first World Cup match in Kansas City will bring energy, excitement, and people from around the world into our neighborhoods and business districts.

Long before kickoff, officers across Kansas City have been preparing to help create an experience where residents, visitors, and local businesses feel safe and supported throughout the event.

The work goes beyond traffic control or event logistics. It’s about building trust, strengthening neighborhoods, and supporting the people behind the uniform who show up every day with professionalism, accountability, and integrity.
