Food for the Cure invites you to visit CISCRP’s Journey to Better Health Mobile Exhibit to learn about Clinical Trials. This coming Friday 25th 5-9pm and Sunday 27th 10am-3pm at the 18th & Vine Arts Festival 2026. Please see above for the complete list of events, dates, and times of their mobile exhibit.

Oh Deer, we had to put up a fence. The mean ol’ deer sure love to munch on sweet potato leaves at our Norfleet Baptist Church Location. Next step will be to build a gate and put up some other deer deterrents.

Today we filled another raised bed and planted another 23 organic sweet potato slips. This makes a grand total of 43 slips at the Norfleet Baptist Church expansion garden location.

A fun and exciting clean up project with Kiewit to help a cancer patient we serve to help them clean up their fence line! Food helps but community hands can always help more sometimes!

Food for the Cure runs on 100% volunteer labor. Help us help those that may not be able to help themselves. Free organic food for cancer patients helps in their battle! Signup on foodforthecure.org or idealist.org. We have a garden in Red Bridge and Norfleet.
