🔥 THE DAY OF ATONEMENT — A TIME TO HUMBLE OURSELVES BEFORE YAH🔥
The **Day of Atonement** is more than a date on the calendar. It is a sacred time of humbling, repentance, reflection, forgiveness, and drawing closer to Yah.
📖 Leviticus 23:27 (KJV)
“Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.”
This is a time to search our hearts.
Have we forgiven others?
Have we repented for the things we have done knowingly and unknowingly?
Are we walking according to Yah’s commandments, or simply doing what feels comfortable?
The prophets continually called Israel back to true repentance, not just outward religious observance.
📖 Joel 2:12–13 (KJV)
“Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God…”
And through Yeshua, we understand the deeper meaning of atonement—reconciliation, mercy, forgiveness, and restoration before the Father.
📖 1 John 2:1–2 (KJV)
“…And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins…”
Today, may we humble ourselves before Yah.
May we forgive.
May we repent.
May we examine ourselves.
May we repair what we have broken.
May we seek reconciliation where reconciliation is possible.
May we turn from sin and return wholeheartedly to the Most High.
This is not simply about going without food.
It is about afflicting the soul, bringing the flesh under submission, and allowing Yah to examine the heart.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Let this Day of Atonement remind us that mercy should never be taken for granted.
Let us come before Yah with humility, sincerity, obedience, and thanksgiving.
Search me, Yah. Cleanse me. Correct me. Restore me. And help me walk upright before You.
