⚠Climbers! ⚠
There looks to be no reprieve from the heat this weekend. Although we are inside, and will have the fans going like always, it gets HOT in those stairwells! Those who have climbed with us before know this too well. If you haven't already been making sure you are hydrating well and taking in electrolytes, NOW is the time to start doing so! Let's all work to ensure everyone has a safe climb! 💪🚒

Today we would like to recognize Copaken Brooks. For the last 16 years, we have been fortunate enough to have the use of their beautiful building Town Pavilion at 1111 Main for our events. We are so appreciative of the generosity you extend to us each year. We would not be the success we are without your generosity.

Thank you, Copaken Brooks! We are looking forward to another safe and successful climb in your building!

The fire service is built on a simple promise: when the call comes, we answer. Sometimes that call comes from our own community. Sometimes it comes from hundreds of miles away.
We are honored to welcome Scott Van Patten as our guest speaker for our 2026 Brotherhood Bash.
On September 14, 2001, while living in Maine, Scott answered a different kind of alarm. Without being part of an official deployment, he traveled to Ground Zero, driven by the same sense of duty and brotherhood that unites firefighters everywhere. For four days, he worked among thousands of first responders and volunteers in the recovery effort following one of our nation's darkest days.
Scott's story is not just about where he went—it's about why he went. It is a testament to the bond that exists within the fire service, where strangers become brothers and sisters, and the commitment to serve extends far beyond the boundaries of our own departments.
As we gather to remember the 343 members of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice, along with the thousands of innocent lives lost and every responder whose life was forever changed, we are grateful to hear firsthand from someone who witnessed history and answered the call.
Please join us as we honor the fallen, remember the sacrifices made, and welcome Scott Van Patten as he shares his story of service, courage, and the enduring brotherhood of the fire service.
Never Forget.
