IMNA Monthly Meeting tonight! All are welcome. We'll be discussing additions to our bylaws, discussing our new Events Committee, letting a local rehabber tell us about a recent rehab for sale on Lyon Avenue in Indian Mound, and offering some congratulations: first, to Mrs Dodd on her retirement from James Elementary, and also to the newly-formed North Lawn Tenants Union! See you at 6:30pm at the library!

¡Esta noche es la reunión mensual de la IMNA! Todos son bienvenidos. Hablaremos sobre las adiciones a nuestros estatutos y sobre nuestro nuevo Comité de Eventos; escucharemos a un restaurador local contarnos acerca de una propiedad recientemente rehabilitada que está a la venta en Lyon Avenue, en Indian Mound; y ofreceremos algunas felicitaciones: en primer lugar, a la Sra. Indian Mound Neighborhood Association stands in solidarity with our neighbors on North Lawn! We are so proud of them for forming a tenant union and we have their back! Please show up tomorrow and let our neighbors know that in Northeast, we stick up for ourselves and won't ever be bullied by a slumlord that lives a thousand miles away!

Dumpster Day returns this Saturday May 2nd! Don't worry about tags or long wait times for bulky item pick up... dump that junk at our dumpster, at the northeast corner of Indian Mound Park, from 8am until the dumpster is full (around 11am usually). No tires, tree limbs, electronics or paint/chemicals.

¡El Día del Contenedor regresa este sábado 2 de mayo! No se preocupe por las etiquetas ni por las largas esperas para la recolección de artículos voluminosos... deshágase de esa basura en nuestro contenedor, ubicado en la esquina noreste de Indian Mound Park, desde las 8:00 a. m. hasta que el contenedor esté lleno (generalmente alrededor de las 11:00 a. m.). No se aceptan neumáticos, ramas de árboles, aparatos electrónicos ni pinturas o productos químicos.

Ngày Thu gom Rác cồng kềnh sẽ trở lại vào thứ Bảy tuần này, ngày 2 tháng 5! Bạn không cần phải bận tâm về việc dán thẻ hay phải chờ đợi lâu để được thu gom các vật dụng cồng kềnh nữa... hãy mang đống phế thải đó đến bỏ vào thùng chứa rác của chúng tôi, nằm tại góc phía Đông Bắc của Công viên Indian Mound. Thời gian nhận rác bắt đầu từ 8 giờ sáng cho đến khi thùng chứa đầy (thường là vào khoảng 11 giờ trưa). Xin lưu ý: Chúng tôi không tiếp nhận lốp xe, cành cây, thiết bị điện tử, cũng như sơn hay hóa chất.

Tonight at 6:30pm IMNA will be meeting at the library. Our special guest is Jennifer Blackwell from KC Parks and Recreation to discuss updates at Budd Park. Please come help us decide the future of this great park!

Also, we will have a closed door IMNA board meeting from 6pm to 6:30pm in the same room.

March 16th we are back at the library for our monthly meeting! We will hear from the new owners of Craig's Auto on St John and Kensington, as well as Bridging The Gap about tree plantings. See you Monday at 6:30pm!

Trash and Recycling Pick Up is delayed one day. That means FRIDAY pick up for all of North and South Indian Mound!

La recogida de basura y reciclaje se retrasa un día. Esto significa que la recogida se realizará el VIERNES en toda la zona de North y South Indian Mound.

🚨Trash Update: As freezing temperatures continue, trash and recycling collection on Monday, 1/26 is canceled.
Collection will resume on a one-day delay starting on Tuesday, 1/27. Saturday 1/31 is allowed extra bags to make up for last week’s cancellation.
