MEETING CANCELED- Due to impending weather conditions the 3rd District Council meeting has been canceled.

The next 6th District Community meeting and public engagement session is tonight, Monday, May 18th, from 6:30pm-7:30pm at South Broadland Presbyterian Church (7850 Holmes Road Kansas City, MO 64131).

There will be a public engagement session for a proposed amendment to Chapter 88 of the Zoning & Development Code relating to Council Approved Signage Plans being applicable in additional Zoning Districts. Andrew Clark with the City Planning and Development department will present on the proposed amendment. Councilmembers Bough & Duncan will share legislative updates & be available to discuss the proposed amendment further.

The amendment is scheduled to be heard at the June 3rd City Plan Commission (CPC) hearing which is held in person and virtually. Visit the CPC webpage for more details.

What a great day seeing so many moved to service, honoring Dr Martin Luther King Jr. The bitter cold didn't chill the spirit of service or celebration of Dr King and his teachings. Thank you to all that served, reflected and built community today.

Special thanks to who brought hundreds together to serve others again this year. Outstanding job!
