🦆🎯 TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT! 🎯🦆

Come join us for the Eastern Kansas Ducks Unlimited – Northeast Kansas/KC Area District Meeting!

📅 TONIGHT — Thursday, August 13th
📍 Wyandotte County Fairgrounds
13700 Polfer Rd., Kansas City, KS 66109

🎯 Shooting starts around 4–5 PM
🍽️ Dinner around 6 PM
🦆 Meeting immediately following

And the best part… IT’S FREE! 🙌
Free dinner, beer & meeting — and you do NOT have to shoot to attend!

Everyone who attends will receive a ticket for a chance to win a gun for themselves AND a gun for the chapter! There will also be raffles, auctions, and plenty of good fellowship.

🎯 If you’re planning to shoot, bring your ammo and eye/ear protection.

☀️ One important note: the building is NOT air-conditioned, so dress accordingly. We’ll have large fans to help keep everyone comfortable.

Whether you’re a longtime DU supporter, a current volunteer, or someone who’s never been before — come hang out with us tonight!

Remembering Rodney Breck

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our Ducks Unlimited committee members and friend, Rodney Allan Breck, who passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Rodney was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and s***t shooting. His passion for the outdoors took him on many adventures, but some of his most treasured memories were the simple moments spent outdoors with his grandchildren, creating traditions and memories that will live on through his family.

Rodney proudly served our country in the United States Army and dedicated 37 years of his career to Owens Corning. He was a man who valued family, friendship, the outdoors, and the experiences that brought people together.

Our Ducks Unlimited family has lost a wonderful committee member, friend, and fellow outdoorsman. Rodney will be deeply missed, but his stories, laughter, friendship, and love for the outdoors will remain with all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.

Please keep Rodney’s children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, and entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest easy, Rodney. May your next adventure be filled with wide-open skies, calm waters, and endless places to hunt and fish. 🦆❤️
