The 4-H new year runs from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027. Youth who turn 7 before January 1 of the current 4-H year may enroll. Youth who turn 19 before January 1 of the current 4-H year are ineligible to enroll.

4-H Cloverbuds is an educational, youth development opportunity specifically for 5- and 6-year-old children. To be eligible to participate, a child must have celebrated his or her 5th or 6th birthday before January 1 of the current year.

The one-time $15 enrollment fee is due to 4-H Online by November 15. All enrolled 4-Hers need to also enroll in at least one project area. You can add additional projects at any time through the 4-H Year, up until May 1st. To enroll or re-enroll, log in to 4-H Online.

The Nearman Club saw a need in the Community for Joy Meadows, so we're collecting socks and underwear for kids in foster care during 48 hours of 4-H. Please bring donations to our office during office hours; donations are welcome from now until the deadline, which is October 12th.

Donations must be new and unopened. They need all sizes of socks and underwear for boys and girls.

Joy Meadows is a family-centered foster care community that supports children in foster care and their caregivers. They are located in Linwood, KS, but are opening another location in Kansas City, KS. The Linwood location supports the Kansas City metro area. Joy Meadows provides families with community support, housing, and resources so children impacted by foster care can find stability, healing, and joy.
