From finding the last WEN flyer at the downtown library to now sharing WEN with others in the community, Gloria Williams’ story has truly come full circle. 💚

Gloria graduated from WEN in 2013 and went on to build a successful career, including seven years with the KCK School District and five years with AXIS before retiring in April 2025.
But retirement did not end her connection to WEN.

Today, Gloria is helping others discover the same support, resources and encouragement that helped her move forward.

When she first came to WEN, Gloria shared: “I will take away a sense of great accomplishment that I will always cherish.”

More than a decade later, she is helping other women see what may be possible for them, too.

Three weeks. Three graduates. So much to celebrate.

Please join us in congratulating Tonia, Lisa, and Jessica, the first graduates of the WEN/Amethyst Place cohort.

Through this partnership, Women’s Employment Network is bringing Three Pillars to Success directly to Amethyst Place, helping make career support, confidence-building, goal setting, and practical next steps more accessible to Amethyst Place moms and WEN clients.

Over three weeks, these women showed up, stepped outside their comfort zones, and continued moving toward their goals.
