Y’all are going to get a laugh out of this.

This year, the boys decided they wanted to plant their very own garden with absolutely no help, no advice, and no supervision from grown ups.

To be honest, I was a little apprehensive about how this experiment was going to turn out... but we agreed to let them take full ownership of it.

Well, here’s the current state of the garden. 🌱🤣

I’m not sure if we’re growing vegetables, creating modern art, or conducting a science experiment, but the boys are proud of it, and that’s what matters!

Juneteenth Celebration

Partnerships aren't something we talk about at High Aspirations.

They're what we do. We're proud to have partnered with organizations including Lowe's, Gates, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, The Salvation Army, Kansas City Zoo, the City of Kansas City, FIFA World Cup initiatives, Union Station, Greater Kansas City Community Gardens, Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, Kansas City Public Library, and many more.

Every partnership represents trust, impact, and a shared commitment to making our community stronger.

It's always interesting when people claim we don't partner with organizations. The photos, projects, events, and results tell a different story.

We don't need to argue. We simply keep showing up, building relationships, and creating opportunities.

The work speaks for itself.

Today, we want to recognize and thank the Chiefs Ambassadors for everything they do for our boys. The support, encouragement, and genuine care they have shown is something we will never forget.

They show up when it matters most, lift spirits when they're low, celebrate every success, and remind our boys that they are valued.
