Piper Optimist Club

Piper Optimist Club Members of the Optimist Club of Piper are men of all ages and backgrounds. We are a hands-on club that rolls up its sleeves instead of sitting on the sidelines.

Established in 1968, Piper Optimist Club is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth in the Piper community through scholarships, athletic programs, and student opportunities. We are affiliated with Optimist International, an international service organization of similar goals. We believe that, through young people, we can influence the future by encouraging good academics, citizenship, a love

of sports and sportsmanship, and an optimistic view of life. As a club member, you will have many opportunities to make a real difference in young people’s lives. You might be a coach, a scorekeeper, an announcer, or, you might judge an essay contest. We finance our programs through donations and other “fun” fundraising events.

Our 11th Annual Golf Tournament is on August 30th, and we need your help to fill the field! ⛳

100% of proceeds support local youth through scholarships, athletic programs, and student opportunities.

What a fantastic start to the school year!

We had an incredible turnout at last week's Piper Optimist Club monthly meeting. Over 35 people came out to connect and support our community! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, from our dedicated returning members to all the new faces who stopped by for the first time.

The 11th Annual Piper Optimist Golf Tournament is right around the corner, and we need your help to make this our best year yet!

We still have a few key spots to fill:

The Piper Optimist Club would like to thank the Piper Educational Foundation for hosting the Back to School Treasure Hunt Event yesterday, where the Optimist Club was able to give away 500 hot dogs, 600 bags of chips, and over 1,000 drinks. We were thrilled to see such a great turnout from the community!

If you're interested in learning how to get involved and support the youth in Piper, come out to our first club meeting of the school year this coming Wednesday, August 12th at 7:00pm at the F.O.P. Lodge (7844 Leavenworth Rd). We finished with 38 paid members last year but we'd love to get back over 50, so come on out and enjoy complimentary food and drinks!
