🏀 Registration is OPEN for the Piper Optimist Club Youth Basketball League! 🏀

Parents and guardians, it’s time to get your athletes signed up for another great season! This year’s league is open to boys and girls in 3rd through 6th grade.

Once registered, every athlete will take part in our Skills Assessment, a quick session of basic drills that helps us gauge each player’s skill level and experience so we can build fair, evenly matched teams.

📅 Skills Assessment Schedule
Girls – Monday, November 2
3rd/4th Grade: 6:00 PM
5th/6th Grade: 7:00 PM

Boys – Wednesday, November 4
3rd/4th Grade: 6:00 PM
5th/6th Grade: 7:00 PM

Thank you to everyone who came out for the 2026 Piper Homecoming Parade, presented by Piper Optimist! A huge shoutout to our youth sports teams, high school and middle school athletes, the Pride of Piper Marching Band, KCK Fire and Police, and all the local businesses that made it so special.

The celebration isn't over yet. Join us TONIGHT at 7pm as the Pirates take on Shawnee Heights for the homecoming football game!🏴‍☠️🏈

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 (Dec. 4-5)!🏀

Last year's inaugural event was a massive success, drawing nearly 1,000 visitors and raising over $20,000 to directly support Piper's youth through scholarships, athletic programs, and student opportunities.

We're looking for passionate sponsors to help make Year 2 even bigger and create a lasting impact for our kids and community.

🏐Thank You Piper Youth Volleyball Families!🏐

Thank you to all the athletes and parents/guardians who joined us for our youth volleyball skills assessment last night. You brought amazing energy and it was the perfect way to kick off our season and start getting athletes placed on teams.

𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁-𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲/𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻. For those that missed the announcement regarding the skills assessment, registration will remain open until midnight tonight.

We need enthusiastic volunteers to help make this season a success! If you want to get involved and help coach one of our teams this season, we'd love to have you on board.
