Presbyterian Elders in Prayer - PEP

Presbyterian Elders in Prayer - PEP To encourage elders and others to pray in agreement with others regularly for the church (Acts 1:14)

Presbyterian Elders In Prayer - PEP - is an organization focused on calling God's Church to prayer. We have in the past and soon will again do a variety of seminars, conferences and retreats to help enable that goal, and will do other sorts of ministry initiatives as well to help seminary students, pastors and all who desire to take a steadfast stand for Christ in our increasingly challenging envi

ronment. Please let us know if you have any questions or would like additional information about our services.

Hello Everyone! This is Kristine Meyer (also known as Kris to some). I'm the new Executive Director for Presbyterian Elders In Prayer and I am delighted to be here on Facebook to tell you "Hello!"

Please bear with us as we transition to new social media programs. With me being a marketing person, you can be sure we'll be more active on Facebook and some other fun Social Media platforms as well. But, it'll take a bit of time, as I'm about to have hip surgery. But will be back soon in full bloom, just like the beautiful Springtime flowers like these in my Dad's front lawn.

And, in the meantime, I'll simply say "God bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and give you peace... and your family, too, for they are a delight to you and so to us here at PEP as well. We're a family, you know ... some adopted newbies and many old friends who date way back to the early years of this fine organization. We love and appreciate you all!

In Acts 14:23 we read about Apostles Paul and Barnabas appointing elders over the churches they founded. They turned them over to the Lord in prayer and fasting. How are we praying for the elders in our own church and in all the churches? Let us pray that we all get inspired to pray for the elders that they grow deeper and stronger in Jesus to do the work they are entrusted.

The board of directors of PEP has a monthly prayer meeting on a conference call. We pray for the churches to be healed, excited and transformed for the Kingdom of God. If you have a prayer-need, let us know.

Are you an elder in a church? Do you know any elder in any church? Did you know that the Scripture instructs us to call on the elders to pray over us when we are sick (James 5:14)? Let us encourage one another to pray for all the elders in all our churches.

How greatly all our churches need prayer from all of us! Let us praise God for all our churches and ask Him for the fire of the Holy Spirit be upon all our churches for the sake of the Kingdom of God and the Lord Jesus Christ. May the fire of the Holy Spirit be seen and experienced by all the people!
