15 FREE SCHOLARSHIPS Available, Please Share.
Renewable AGRICULTURE scholarship being offered by LINCOLN UNIVERSITY in Jefferson City, Missouri for the 2020 school year starting this fall. Eligible candidates are recent high school graduates and must have a cumulative 2.8 GPA. (ACT scores have been waived at the school this year.) There are approximately 15 full ride tuition scholarships available which include a generous book stipend, room, food, and board.
Perhaps, you have not previously considered a career in agriculture but it could match your current love of science, business, or animals. The college has an exciting department which offers rewarding, unique programs revolving around the study of agribusiness and innovation as it relates to grocery stores and clothing, forestry, wildlife, urban farming, and more. The following are majors offered by Lincoln University for this particular scholarship:
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, emphasis in Agribusiness
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, emphasis in Animal Science
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, emphasis in Natural Resources Management
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, emphasis in Plant and Soil Science

1890 Scholarship Eligibility Criteria for Full Ride Scholarships in Agriculture
Entering freshmen for the Fall of 2020 must meet the following criteria to receive the 1890 Scholarships provided by the LU College of Agriculture Environmental and Human Sciences (CAEHS):
Be accepted for admission to Lincoln University of Missouri for full-time enrollment for the Fall of 2020
Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of at least 2.8 at the time of application
Provide a letter of recommendation from High School Counselor
Provide a letter of recommendation from High School Teacher
Complete the 2020-2021 FAFSA
Complete LU housing application to reside on-campus
Provide a current one page resume
Provide a 500-800 word essay describing interest in the College of Agriculture and intention to pursue a career in the food or agricultural sciences or related field
Select a major course of study within College of Agriculture or related discipline
Intend to target a career in the food and agricultural sciences; including agribusiness or financial management
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 each semester enrolled and throughout the time in the program
Enrolled as a full-time student in a program of study within College of Agriculture to be eligible for 1890 support.
A citizen or national of the United States
Once accepted into the 1890 Scholars Program, students must adhere to the following success goals:
Participate in monthly success meetings
Agree to follow the 4-year College of Agriculture Success Pathway that includes the following milestones:
Meet with program advisor each 8 weeks or more if needed
Complete lab or farm tour during freshman year
Have an agriculture related employer contact each semester
Participate in high-impact learning (HIL) activity such as an internship, research project, or conference presentation during the sophomore, junior and senior years
Attend tutoring, Supplemental Instruction or academic coaching in areas of academic weaknesses if needed to maintain needed GPA
Commit to graduation in four years
Participate in at least three (3) College of Agriculture activities each semester
