Variety KC Go Baby Go Through collaboration with therapists, families, and STEM programs in the community, we provide mobi Variety KC- GoBabyGo! Our goal at Variety KC GoBabyGo!

Kansas City provides solutions for mobility and sociability for individuals with disabilities and their families. We are most well-known for modifying toy ride-on cars to provide low tech power mobility for children with disabilities. We use toys and hardware that can easily be found at most local stores to make modifications individualized for the child's needs. Most modifications costs less than

$200-$300. is to host two big "Build Days" each year, when we collaborate with our community partners to modify cars for children in the community. We are currently growing our real-world harness system, and can serve as a resource for families and facilities interested in portable and permanent harness systems in their homes, schools, and community. Did you know our Kansas City Zoo is the most inclusive zoo in the USA? Please share so everyone will know about our inclusive efforts!

We have provided have created resources and signage to help guests have positive and supportive experiences when visiting the KC Zoo. When visiting, guests may check out free Variety KC sensory bags, which include a number of helpful resources, such as noise canceling headphones and fidgets. Guests can borrow these bags for free, and they can be picked up at any entrance to the Zoo. Variety also provided 2. Adaptive golf carts to get wheelchairs and families around with ease! Please visit our universal changing station at the Elephant exhibit and will enjoy wider sidewalks and first clear exhibit!

You also may notice special signs on the map to our inclusive playground and quiet spaces, areas that experience a high level of noise, giving our guests the knowledge they need to choose where and how they will spend their experience.

WE'RE BACK! Applications are now open for our spring build. We'll be working with families VIRTUALLY to modify toy ride-on cars, with a COVID-safe pick-up in May... just in time for SUMMER cruising! If you know a little guy or gal who would rock power car, please complete the application.
