“It’s a Good Day to Be a Kansas Mason”

The men of Widow’s Sons Lodge No.17 and the women of Electa Chapter No. 2 partnering with The Beatrice Lee Community Center 1310 North 10th Street Kansas City, Kansas to feed and host the Annual Easter Event for the kids.

Activities included Easter Egg Hunt, Show And Tell from the KCK Fire Department, Unified Goverment, Mobile Library, Food and lots of Fun

Also The Mayor of the Unified Government of Wyandotte County The Honorable Christal E, Watson (First Black Women to Serve this Community as Mayor) eagerly took time out of her busy schedule to serve her community.

It's with heavy hearts, we regret to announce the passing of Willie “June” Hicks, the brother of Master Mason Isaac Ellis of Widow’s Sons Lodge No. 17 of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Kansas

Willie Hicks Jr. Hicks passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

We extend our deepest condolences to Brother Isaac Ellis and his family during this time of grief. May they find strength and comfort from the love of family, friends, and the strong bonds of our fraternity.

The Officers and Members of Widow's Sons Lodge No. 17, F. &. A.M. of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Kansas extend our deepest condolences to District Deputy Grand Master Henry Stewart of the Second Masonic District and his family on the passing of his brother Kenneth Stewart this evening.

Our prayers is for the Great Architect of the Universe to grant comfort, peace and strength to DDGM Henry Stewart and his family during this time of sorrow.
