We visited Winner Park today. Besides handing out first aude and hygiene supplies, jacket, blankets, socks, underwear, dog food, human food, and books, we also had 5 bicycles that we donated today. Thank you to Clint Klesath, Cindy George, Christina Wheeler, Kristen Melvin, Kevin Gregg, and Megan Meiners and her son. We handed out almost everything that we brought. The items went quickly. Thank you Clint for getting pictures before everything was gone.

We are also deeply moved by the extraordinary generosity of both of today’s winners, who chose to donate their winnings back to support our cause.

This Sunday, Sept. 27th, Teren's S.T.A.R.S. is holding a 50/50 raffle for a 27 year old with invasive breast cancer. We will be a General Admission Sports Bar. There will be 2 drawings. The first will be after the game. The second will be after the jam, at 8:00pm. Come out to watch the game, have a cold drink, and help support Mads Dawson. Then stay for some great music and another chance to support Mads and win some money!
Then, on Sunday, October 4th, Teren's S.T.A.R.S. will be making another trip to Winner Park to hand out items to the needy.

We are assisting with two 50/50 raffles on September 27th. One during the Chiefs game (noon - 4 PM) and another during the Sunday jam (4 PM - 8 PM) for a recently diagnosed cancer patient. Please come support us at General Admissions in Lee's Summit. Hope to see you there!

Teren's S.T.A.R.S. has so many people to thank for all of the help that was given us during our biggest fundraiser.
Thank you to the shoppers that bought items and those that also left donations. And to Anne Connely and Linda Bird for working our booth during the time that our members had conflicts. You were lifesavers. Thanks to all Teren's S.T.A.R.S. members for working full shifts and those that filled in extra shifts. Also, to the wonderful group of friends that came to help us pack up items, tear down tables, folded tarps, picked up trash (micro trash as Kris calls it), pulled signs and parking stakes and flags, loaded bikes onto the trailer, took items to donate, hauled off trash and much more! You all went above and beyond. THEN many of them stayed to help to other vendors, including me! This is the first year that I got my items packed and stored before 11:30pm! Christina even took a load of one vendor's items to their house to save them a trip! Kris Doak, Christina Wheeler , April Downey Billingsley , Jace VanBenthusen, Clay Kroenke, Kristen Melvin , and Cindy George , you all are amazing!
I can not thank you enough for giving up your Sunday afternoon and evening for us.
You are all wonderful humans.

Teren's S.T.A.R.S. will have a booth at the 2026 Parking Lot Sale on Noland, at The Little Blue Barn Wednesday, 9/9 - 9/13. Thank you to everyone who has helped us with donations and your physical labor so we can make money to continue our service projects.

Teren's S.T.A.R.S. had a great turnout today at Winner Park. Thank you to: Cindy George, Christina Wheeler, Christine Lane, Clint Klesath, Cyndi Schulze, Erica Standley, Kristen Melvin, Megan Meiners & her boys, and Suzie DeVore Warren for coming out to help pass out items. Thank you to those of you that donated needed items. A special thank you to Erica, Christina, and Christine for helping me unload everything!

More THANK YOUs!
Thanks to Deidra Light-Atchley for donating cans, clothing, and shoes. The hoodies, sweatpants, and shoes will go to Winner Park on July 12th. The clothing is being donated to Cold Water in Lee's Summit. They hand out free clothing to people in need.
Thank you to Cindy George for finding this organization and delivering the clothing.
Thank you to Clint Klesath for recycling a truck load of aluminum cans for us, and continuing to work on bikes for us.

Thank you to Cheryl Reed for the donation of pet supplies, and to Georgiana Cobb for her donation of backpacks, a large case of new socks (some socks the school uniform shirts, and 2 pocket file folders have been delivered to children in need), hand and body warmers, hygiene products, and countless other items for the homeless.
Teren's S.T.A.R.S. Will get these items to those who needs them very soon.
Also, thank you to Clint Klesath for picking up and dropping off requested food items to residents of Welcome Inn, and puzzles and crossword puzzle books to Tranquil Grove Retirement Home in Blue Springs.

- Courtney Burroughs Brewer for the donation of toothbrushes and toothpaste
- Chris Doak and Megan Austin for purchasing our last two Falling STARS (giant Jenga) games,
- To everyone that has donated bicycles for us to give to those in need or to sell in order to help fund other projects,
- Lesa Naudet for advertising and organizing the pick-ups of the bikes,
- and Clint Klesath for repairing the bikes, and taking the cans to recycle!
