FIRST Robotics Team Up Next

It was cold and rainy in Iowa, but definitely a hot competition inside the arena. It took 6 semi-final matches to decide who would move on to the finals. Even the last match ended in a tie with foul points determining the winner. Sharing the sentiments of our 2017 driver, Nathanael Holden: "a huge shoutout to 1987 Broncobots and 5809 The Jesubots, for being the most resilient alliance mates I've ever seen, and congratulations to teams 5960 SubZero Robotics, fellow KC team 2410 BVC Metal Mustang Robotics, and 4506 PioNerds for their regional win and more impressively, their long delayed win against our alliance in the semifinals."

We take great pride in our very pink team image and are often asked about it by total strangers. It is a great conversation starter and opportunity to talk about our team and FIRST. At the Iowa Regional, we were honored to win the Imagery Award.

What an amazing Greater Kansas CIty Regional competition! After finishing qualification matches as the #1 seed, we were knocked out in the semifinals by an amazing #4 alliance. Thank you Team Titanium- 1986 and FBI- 1723 for joining our alliance. Congratulations to the 2017 winners: 1987, 624, and 5801.

We were excited to win the Innovation in Controls award.

Next weekend, we will be traveling to Cedar Falls, Iowa for our second regional of the season.
