On November 3rd, Jackson County voters will decide whether to continue the Anti-Crime Sales Tax, known as COMBAT. It's a quarter-cent sales tax, 25 cents on every $100 spent, and it is not a new tax. If continued, it runs through March 31, 2037. If not, it expires March 31, 2027. Over the next few weeks, we'll share what COMBAT funds here at CCR.
Here's information highlighting how COMBAT funding has been used for law enforcement, drug enforcement, prevention programs, treatment services, schools, and community-based programs.

Every seat at Rise For Peace represents something.

Last year, more than 3,000 youth and adults in Kansas City accessed restorative justice trainings and services through CCR in classrooms, courtrooms, workplaces, and reentry programs. Rise For Peace is how we sustain that work and grow it. Will we see you on October 22nd?

$35 early bird tickets now through Monday, August 31st (link in comments).
