We've screened over 22,000 children already this school year and we're just getting started! Across Missouri, our staff and trained volunteers bring vision screenings to schools, daycares, and community sites, helping identify vision concerns early. When a child needs follow-up care, KidSight helps families take the next step.

Stronger partnerships. Brighter futures. 💙

Yesterday, in partnership with The Vision Council, we screened 1,309 children across 11 Missouri counties in ONE DAY and referred 145 children for follow-up eye care.

The Vision Council also helped us distribute educational bookmarks alongside our screening materials, giving families another resource to learn about children’s vision.

Thank you to The Vision Council and every team and partner site that made this day possible. Together, we’re helping more Missouri children take the next step toward vision care.

We're providing over 1,000 screenings across Missouri in a single day!

A big thanks to our dedicated KidSight volunteers!

KidSight’s vision screenings are possible because of the generous volunteers who give their time to help children get a clearer start. Through their support, we can help identify potential vision concerns early and connect children with the care they need.

We’re grateful to everyone who helps bring KidSight’s mission to life. Together, we’re making a difference in children’s vision and futures! 👀💙

On October 8, the Jefferson City Host Lions KidSight Vision Screening Team traveled to Eldon South Elementary School. They screened 353 students. It was a fun day! The students and staff were great to work with.

On October 7, the team traveled to Callaway Hills Elementary School in Holts Summit. They screened 128 students there.
Busy times in making sure all students enjoy good sight in school and in life!

With events happening in communities across Missouri, this special day will help more children receive the vision screenings they need and connect families to next-step care when concerns are identified. We are proud to be a Missouri Lions supported organization! Many of our volunteers are Lions Club members who help us serve children across the state. 🦁💙

The JC Host Lions' Sight Squad has helped KidSight provide ONE MILLION vision screenings!

What began as a small pilot in 1995 has grown into a statewide program reaching children in schools, preschools, and communities across Missouri. JC Host Lions has screened THOUSANDS of kids!

One million screenings. One million opportunities to identify a vision concern early. We are incredibly proud of what KidSight has built and the people who have made it possible.
