Avant Ministries www.avantministries.org At Avant we love the church. We exist to see the church planted where it does not exist.

We believe the church is what people do when they leave the building—they are the hands and feet of the gospel in their communities.

🙏 Today we honor those who served with Avant (formally Central American Mission, or CAM) and who are now with the Lord. Praise God for their years of service on the field!

📖 "But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." (Acts 20:24 ESV)

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'” (Romans 10:14-15 ESV)

We are grateful for our retired missionaries who stepped out in obedience and faith to share the gospel with the unreached around the world. The good works of God's people will not be wasted. Those who bring the Good News of Jesus are indeed precious in His sight!

At the heart of Avant is the belief that God has invited us to take part in His redemptive work in the world. These core values shape who we are and how we work. We are committed to care deeply and go boldly to the nations to reach the unreached with the gospel for the glory of Christ!

In Spain, religion and Christianity are often more about traditions than a personal relationship with Jesus. Few have a genuine faith in Christ or a real understanding of who He is. Our workers in Spain are finding ways to reach Spaniards with the hope of the gospel.

A documentary sharing the story of a revival in Burgos, Spain in the 70s and early 80s is being created by believers with the goal of opening the eyes of Spaniards who have rejected Christianity. Through the story of the Burgos revival, this documentary will show how the cultural Christianity that Spaniards are familiar with does not align with the Bible or represent Jesus and the Kingdom of God.

Avant is committed to caring deeply for the unreached. With ministries like refugee outreaches, sports camps, discipleship programs, trauma counseling, and children's education, Avant has workers serving around the world in multiple capacities so they can care for the physical and spiritual wellbeing of those who have not yet heard of Jesus.

Caring deeply also means developing and deepening relationships, walking alongside others through life and demonstrating the love of Jesus through friendship. One such friendship was sparked between one of our workers in Spain and unbeliever. Read how God used that friendship to open the doors to sharing the gospel. Check out the link the story!
