Taking the first steps can be hard, but once you get started the possibilities are endless. For those who were at Summit, we hope that you take the leap and apply what you learned to your communities. 🌈🐞🌼 However, we know that EVERY member of the YVC network is more than capable of hard work. We hope that you serve your community with courage and kindness.

We love this reminder from Pippi Post! ❤

You never know where a conversation about service can start!

Our founder, David Battey recently found himself talking about YVC with youth on the subway in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Inspiring the next generation of volunteers can happen anywhere! 🚇🌏

Today, 300 Kansas City-area students took part in our 9/11 Day of Service. They honored the victims, veterans, and first responders of September 11th by giving back to veterans and first responders in their own community. 🇺🇸

Thank you to the Kansas Volunteer Commission, NorthPoint Foundation, Kansas Health Foundation, and Youth Volunteer Corps Kansas City for making today possible.
