Rings of Care is aligned with United WE, in the believe that caregiving isn’t just a personal responsibility—it’s a workforce issue, an economic issue, and a community issue. When we support caregivers, we strengthen businesses, families, and our entire economy.

United We is launching a new Institute Forum series, “Caregiving at Work,” sponsored by AARP.

This multi-state initiative is designed to address one of the most urgent barriers to women’s workforce participation. With 63 million Americans currently providing care, and one in three belonging to the “sandwich generation” caring for both children and adult relatives, the need for practical workplace solutions has never been greater.

Through this series, United We is bringing together employers, community leaders, and caregivers across Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. The forums are designed to equip participants with actionable tools, elevate caregiver voices, and spotlight employer practices that are working.

This is an important conversation. By 2030 Missouri will have more residents over the age of 60 than we have under the age of 18. Rings of Care knows we need to start addressing the shift immediately.
