Kansas City Italians KC Italians is the page for everything Italian in Kansas City. We need to change that because we are losing valuable history every day.

The goal of KC Italians is to preserve the history and culture of the Italian-American community in Kansas City and promote Italian-American businesses, clubs, & events. Sadly most of the history of the Italian-American community in KC has been overshadowed by the more colorful elements. Another reason for www.KCItalians.com is to unite the Italian-American community. We are all so spread out and

Step back in time to the 1946 Holy Rosary Carnival and Popularity Contest! ❤️ This historic flyer featured candidates for Queen, Junior Queen, and King, with families voting by purchasing tickets.

The carnival brought the Holy Rosary community together for an unforgettable celebration — complete with a 1946 Plymouth as the first prize and a Norge refrigerator as the second! 🚗✨

Nearly 80 years later, these pieces of history give us a glimpse into the traditions, celebrations, and people that made the Holy Rosary neighborhood so special.
