Kirk Family YMCA Strengthening downtown KC through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

The facility includes cardio and strength-training equipment, basketball court, indoor pool, group exercise classes, youth group exercise, wellness coaching and Child Watch, all of which are free to all members. If you're interested in more information, please contact the Welcome Center.

This Welcome Week, we’re celebrating the many places, cultures, backgrounds, and experiences that make our Y community unique!

Take a trip around the world without leaving the Y! 🌍

Our Aquatics Department has hidden flags representing different countries throughout the area. When you visit, see if you can find the flags, identify the countries, and learn a fun fact along the way!

We also want to see just how far our Y community reaches!

When you visit the Y, stop by the Welcome Center and ask a staff member for a pushpin. Then, add your hometown, state, or country to our “Where We’re From” map! 📌🌎

Whether you’re from right here in Kansas City, somewhere across the United States, or another country around the world — we want to celebrate where you’re from!

Come participate, explore, and help us show just how wonderfully diverse our Y community is. ❤️

The Kirk YMCA pool will be closing at 1pm Sunday 9/6. We apologize for the inconvenience and the short notice. Thank you for your patience as we hire more lifeguards. If you or someone you know are interested in working part time as a lifeguard, please reach out to Bri Bendorf the Aquatics Coordinator. We have several people waiting to go to training in two weeks, but could always use a few more. Employees receive a free individual membership and discounted family membership.
