Vision: To be the premiere funding source for LGBTQ+ led and LGBTQ+ serving nonprofits in
the Greater Kansas City Area. Mission: To provide grant support to nonprofit organizations in the Greater Kansas City area, to assist them with delivery of programs and services of special need, concern or value to
individuals who identify as LGBTQ+. Values:
• Equity - A core component of our work, the value
of equity seeks to address historical
and systemic imbalance by giving people what they need to realize a shared outcome. We strive towards establishing a level playing field and amplifying voices in the LGBTQ+
community that have traditionally been silenced and under-supported.
• Sustainability - We make a long-term commitment to support the LGBTQ+ community
and ensure that funds continue to flow beyond our singular engagement. We will take
the road of building upon successes of the past and forging new paths with a strong and
steady presence.
• Trust - We endeavor to build bridges between different sectors of the community
through clear communication, transparency, and grace. We will support work internally
and externally that leads to authentic connection and relationship building.
• Collaboration - We seek to become a model for collaboration within the LGBTQ+
community. We will create a space that brings different voices and lived experiences to
the same table; a space led by the community, for the community. We support open and
honest environments that fuel inclusiveness and capitalize on the effectiveness of
