Like many of our surroundings, our local park took a bit of a beating during the recent storm. We’ve lost some of our trees, and the swing set sustained some damage and is inaccessible on top of the repairs it will need before it's safe for use again.

But amidst the branches and debris, we found a bright spot: our Little Free Library made it through completely untouched! 📚✨

It’s a great reminder that while storms can knock down trees, they can’t shake our spirit, because knowledge is power(and pretty durable, too) and community keeps us grounded.

Please use caution near the damaged trees and swing area while clean-up is underway. Feel free to stop by, grab a book, or leave one for a neighbor. Stay safe, everyone! ❤️

Community first, always🫶🏽

Though we were impacted by the storm ourselves, being alongside our Northeast KCK community at the Community BBQ on the Q today was exactly where we needed to be😌.

We are blessed to be able to bring resources, encouragement, mini activities and refreshements for everyone finding calm after the storm! 🫂

We are incredibly grateful to have met such an inspiring and dedicated business owner. When unforeseen obstacles prevented him from bringing his riding mower to the site, he didn’t allow that challenge to become an excuse. Instead, he demonstrated true professionalism, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to excellence by ensuring the job was completed to the highest standard.

In a world where reliability and integrity can be hard to find, he exemplified both. His willingness to step up, honor his word, and provide Grade A service without charging our nonprofit organization, speaks volumes about his character and dedication to the community.

Businesses are built on trust, and this is exactly the kind of professional you want in your corner. His work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to customer satisfaction are second to none. We wholeheartedly recommend his services to anyone seeking a dependable, hardworking, and community-minded professional.

Thank you for your generosity, integrity, and outstanding service. Your actions made a meaningful difference, and we are proud to support and recommend your business.
