Looks like K9 Nevil has chosen his favorite for the World Cup - here he is repping England! 🐾⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Since England made it to the quarterfinals of the World Cup, our officers and K9s continue to make sure their practice camp here in KC is safe. Great job, pups and officers!

We are excited to formally introduce the two newest K9s with the K9 Unit! We recently presented their badges to them and their handlers, so they are official!! Welcome to K9 Rex who is partnered with Officer Trost, and K9 Ziko who is partnered with Officer Moats! 🐾🐾💙

K9 Rex was born on 3/13/2024 in the Czech Republic and is a Belgian Malinois. He is a patrol and narcotics detection K9 and is described by his handler as having a very chill, laid back, and sweet personality.

K9 Ziko was born on 3/8/2024 and is from Poland. He is also a Belgian Malinois. He is a patrol and explosives K9. He is described as very happy, goofy, and super athletic. He loves to frolic around and seems to have fun no matter what he’s doing!

It’s hot out there!! 🥵☀️ Take care of your pups, and yourself, in this heat. Don’t forget about their sensitive paw pads, since the pavement is hot enough to burn. You might consider shoes for your pup so they can be like K-9 Carlo! 🐾

Got a mountain of plastic grocery bags taking over your pantry?

We’ll happily take them off your hands! Our kennel team uses them every day for the less glamorous—but very important—part of caring for our furry patients. 💩🐾

If you have extra plastic grocery bags lying around, we’d love for you to drop them off at Veterinary Center of Liberty on your next visit. They help keep our kennels clean and save us from buying disposable bags.

Keep your pets indoors in a safe, quiet space before fireworks begin and make sure they have an ID tag in case they do get loose.
