To the Coterie Theatre and its followers, I was lucky enough to be invited and attend the "first look" workshop reading of "Just Ask" a new musical based on a book by Sonia Sotomayer..... It was delightful. Such a great message speaking to acceptance of all other abilities and all differences. The story itself is not the only exciting thing about this piece but is also cast with those of these specific abilities and developing unique characters and songs for future productions with differently abled actors so each production will have a unique presentation.
Very exciting - make plans to see this original production in performance in January! geared to youth through pre and early teen but speaks to all and all should see it!
