Pay It Forward Project

Pay It Forward Project Helping people focus on being the positive change the world needs one random act of kindness at a time. Hence the PIFP Chip.

Partnering with people around the world by passing free "Pay It Forward" chips or tokens on to those we bless to encourage them to Pay It Forward! Founded almost accidentally through stopping and helping someone on the side of the road and instead of accepting payment, saying "pay me back by paying it forward". Then the idea that stuck....."what if there was a way to increase the odds of that pers

on remembering to ACTUALLY pay it forward???". This physical chip serves as a reminder in our pockets to be looking for that next person we can bless. When you go above and beyond and perform that act of kindness, give them a PIFP chip too so they can get access to our webpage and see that now they need to pass that chip on to someone else within 7 days. anyone anywhere can request a free sheet of our PIFP Chip stickers on the "Get Involved" page on our website.

Great Pay It Forward story from the last few days. Someone stopped and checked on a minivan broken down on the side of the road that turned out to be a lady from out of town. There was barely room to get in and out of the vehicle with cars zipping by and a narrow shoulder. Roadside assistance told her it was going to be a 2+ hour wait and her car would not start at all. She was und With a little work they managed to get the van off the interstate to a safer place at the next exit where a tow truck was able to get to them safely. Turns out they have a lot in common with similar backgrounds and are now friends.

The small random act of kindness and selflessness you show can COMPLETELY alter the course of someone's day in a positive way.

Thinking of an publishing an additional PIFP option to pass to strangers. Some cards similar to our PIFP chips but more like a business card you could easily print out yourself. Thoughts? Would you be more/less/or equally likely to pass on a Pay It Forward card vs chip?

The original reason for a "chip" instead of a card? It is so easy to lose a card in your wallet. Think of how many business cards you have in there now that you haven't looked at in years. A chip you make a conscious decision to carry it with you in your pocket, it jingles around with your change.
