As the summer comes to the close, we want to recognize our summer interns.

After growing up as a Hope Center student, Deaveon returned this summer as an intern—pouring into the next generation in the same place that once poured into him.

Through the experience, he’s gained a new appreciation for the planning, care and teamwork that go into creating meaningful moments for students. Most of all, he’s leaving the summer with greater confidence, patience and a heart to serve.

From student to leader, Deaveon is showing what it looks like to give back and keep the impact going. 🙌🏾

🌟 Meet Our Summer Interns Who Are Also Hope Center Alumni!🌟
This summer, two familiar faces are back at the Hope Center — except this time, they're not students, they're interns! 💛

Deaveon Williams and Camille Moore both grew up here, and now they're pouring into the next generation the same way this place once poured into them. Deaveon's been part of Hope Center for over a decade; Camille since the third grade.

For both, it's been a full-circle moment. Camille calls it a "family reunion." Deaveon says it's similar to before, just shifting from participating to helping run it all. 🔄

Some favorite moments: Deaveon celebrating his birthday at Kids Across America camp, feeling wrapped in love by his community. Camille loving the chance to support students the way she once was supported. 🥹

Their advice for future interns: be yourself, know you're accepted for who you are, and keep building the relationships that matter. 💬
