Good Morning KC, this is a recent article showcasing how not everyone in Shawnee is on board with the new cohabitation ordinance. Which is good but the focus of the article Val French managed to resolve her issue with the ordinance but I'm sure as a community this will still have a substantial impact. We have got to come together as a community in times like these. Our rights are precious make sure you're standing up for yours.

Kansas City has taught me that you don’t love a city by seeing only the parts that make you comfortable. Telling stories about this place for two decades allowed me to understand its quirks, its flaws, its strengths and its heartaches.

Last year, a similar plan for pallet shelters to be built downtown never made it to City Council for a vote. The new iteration of that plan is proposed for the city’s Municipal Farm.
