Family dinner

Sending out a reminder to everyone about the upcoming family dinner on July 23, Thursday night this week! Doors open at five, dinner at 5:30 until 7:30 PM. We will be having a taco bar, serving beef tacos, both hardshell, and soft shell, and fish tacos, Baja style. I know some people that have let me know that they are coming are bringing rice and beans. Feel free to bring a dish to share with everyone or bring a dessert and come and join the fun.

Thank You to Dave and Pam Bertrand for putting on our lecture night tonight at Ohara Council Knights Of Columbus 4387. What a wonderful program and educational as well, to learn about Irish whiskeys and how they’re made and the different taste and flavors that you have to experience. Thank you to everyone who attended , it was a great night for all to try some new things and socialize.
Watch for information that’ll be coming out for our next event in May. It will be very informational on services available to the homebound and disabled people in our lives. Also mark your calendars for that lecture night being May 20 starting at 7 PM, and also for May 21 for our summer series of family dinners. Information will be available soon.

Lecture night on April 30 will be an Irish whiskey tasting event. You will be sampling five different Irish whiskeys and getting a good explanation in history on each one on how they’re made and what regions of Ireland did they come from. Come join in on the fun. It’s $10 to participate to help sway the cost of the alcohol. Come have a taste, and time to socialize. I would like to have your reservation by 27 April you can pay at the door. We currently have approximately 25 people signed up so send me a text or give me a call so that we can know how much alcohol to buy and bring in.
