Kansas City is the largest city in Missouri, with more than 508,000 people. As a result, a great deal of tax dollars is generated. These tax dollars go to our schools, streets, water, sewer, infrastructure, etc. Unfo

Collection will resume on a one-day delay starting on Tuesday, 1/27. Saturday 1/31 is allowed extra bags to make up for last week’s cancellation.

Today, in honor of Kansas City Fire Department Firefighter/Paramedic Graham Hoffman, I ordered U.S. and Missouri flags be flown at half-staff at government buildings in Cass, Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties, the Fire Fighters Memorial of Missouri in Kingdom City, and firehouses statewide on Friday, May 2.
