Don't just say you care, volunteer!! I had so much fun working with and teaching these amazing kids how to ride their new bikes! Seeing their confidence grow and their skills improve was truly the best part of it all.
I am so grateful to our kinesiology department for introducing us students to this volunteering opportunity, and to the Capper Foundation for creating such an impactful platform that empowers kids to learn, grow, and be their best selves.
I really encourage anyone who cares to get involved and volunteer. If you're unsure where to start, simply search "local volunteering opportunities within my community,” there are so many meaningful ways to help.
Stay motivated everyone. 2026 is the year for change!
