BREAKING: 26-year-old Romeo Storr Jr., accused of ra**ng a woman whom he was giving a ride home, has been charged with two counts of r**e.

Prosecutors allege that Storr Jr. sexually assaulted the 18-year-old twice on August 14.

Storr did not have to enter pleas to the charges when he made his first appearance before Acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

He was denied bail. He returns to court on February 4 when the matter is expected to be fast-tracked to the Supreme Court with the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.

Today we remember Gabriel Fernandez on what would have been his 21st birthday. 🙏🏼🕊️🤍

He was tortured and killed by his mother and her boyfriend when he was just 8 years old. If you suspect that a child is suffering from abuse or neglect, please call 800-422-4453 to report a case.

Don't just say you care, volunteer!! I had so much fun working with and teaching these amazing kids how to ride their new bikes! Seeing their confidence grow and their skills improve was truly the best part of it all.

I am so grateful to our kinesiology department for introducing us students to this volunteering opportunity, and to the Capper Foundation for creating such an impactful platform that empowers kids to learn, grow, and be their best selves.

I really encourage anyone who cares to get involved and volunteer. If you're unsure where to start, simply search "local volunteering opportunities within my community,” there are so many meaningful ways to help.

Stay motivated everyone. 2026 is the year for change!
